Google Search Turns Off Website Cache Link Feature

Cheers to the cache feature that's been around for decades on Google Search. Google Search confirmed that page cache links will no longer be displayed when using their search engine. The reason given is that this feature was given first to make it easier for people to access some sites when the internet speed is unstable. With internet technology now getting better, this feature was discontinued this week.

The first time this feature was found to be missing was on January 25. A Google Search representative has officially confirmed that the feature has been discontinued through the X site today. However they plan to provide a direct link to the Internet Archive instead but subject to mutual agreement.

Among tech journalists, the cache feature is very useful for accessing deleted websites especially for products that have been accidentally leaked or products that have been discontinued. It is also the best feature to read the contents of pages that were deleted for some reason some time ago.
