Ai can generate songs by entering short proms. It can also generate 3D images based on 2D images while OpenAi Sora can generate high resolution videos. The research team from Google Deepmind has also demonstrated Genie, an AI that can generate video games based on a single static image.
Genie was trained using 200,000 hours of video of platformer-type video games. When an image of the user's choice is entered, it can generate a short interactive video game based on that image. This AI is still in the research stage and it only produces video games at a low resolution of 160×90-pixels for up to 16 seconds only.
But as we can see in the world of generative AI, a dramatic increase in quality and capability can be seen in a very short time. A year ago the ability to generate images, audio and video by AI was laughed at because it seemed very unsatisfactory. Now AI is a threat to the creative industry.
