HMD today kicked off the MWC 2024 event by announcing a partnership with Mattel, and said it will be coming with a Barbie-branded phone soon. In parallel, HMD shared that it will be present with several other devices every month, starting this May 2024.
Although not officially shown, HMD stated that their phone will focus on ease of repair, as well as include the ability to use for a long time, as well as in terms of durability.
In addition, HMD also stated that they will continue to introduce Nokia-branded phones, and one of Nokia's iconic devices will be present soon.
Parallel to this announcement, HMD also opened a special developer kit, to enable the development and integration of software for their output devices.
