The new flagship device Honor Magic6 Pro has officially entered the global market just now. Honor is seen to further strengthen this new product with wider innovation than before.
Honor Magic6 Pro is equipped with a 6.8-inch curved screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen also offers a brightness of up to 5,000nits for better brightness, in addition to the 4,350mAh PWM Dimming function which should help protect the eyes. Also included is HDR10+ and Dolby Vision certification for more lifelike color reproduction.
Next, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, 12GB RAM memory and 512GB internal storage are used as the mainstay. Followed by virtual RAM support of 8GB RAM that makes the device can offer up to 20GB in total. The latest software MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14 with AI model is included for a number of new functions.
Among them is Magic Portal which allows users to change and access services between applications with just drag and drop. Combined with the Magic Ring, it can offer a seamless experience across different devices including tablets, laptops and more. Then the Magic Capsules feature that works like Dynamic Island for basic notifications.
Tri-camera used consists of 50MP (main) + 50MP (ultra-wide angle) + 180MP (telephoto periscope) with OIS. This telephoto camera supports 3X optical zoom and 100X digital zoom. Various AI features are also upgraded for a more enjoyable photography experience. The selfie camera is 50MP + 3D ToF which is placed in a small hole on the front screen.
The 5,600mAh battery used is also larger than the 5,100mAh on the previous Magic5 Pro. It can be charged wired with an output power of 80W and wirelessly 66W. However the charging head provided through the purchase box supports up to 100W. Interestingly, this carbon silicon type battery was developed by Honor itself and improved better. Stereo speakers with DTS: X Ultra are also provided as a complement to the device. The device is sold at €1299 (~RM6,710) for one
