Honor's Second Generation Silicon-Carbon Battery Promises Better Power Boost

Do you remember the silicon-carbon battery technology developed by Honor last year? It is said to be able to offer increased battery energy density compared to lithium ion batteries, even in challenging temperature conditions. So far it has also been used on several devices such as Honor Magic5 Pro, Magic5 Ultimate and Magic V2.

Sharing more about it the technology has entered the second generation, which is said to be able to offer much better performance in various conditions, in addition to being given a power increase of up to 6% higher in battery energy density.

In addition, the integration with a standalone chip called Power Enhanced Chip Honor E1 also has a positive effect on more stable use in various conditions, including normal or challenging temperatures such as -20°C.

In theory it becomes a smart solution that provides a more efficient improvement in the charging process and thermal energy management on the device. This is very useful to ensure that the battery can last longer.

Next, the new technology has also passed prestigious battery certifications including the UK Conformity Assessed Marking and the China National Accreditation Commission for conformity assessment (CNAs) which indirectly show that it meets industry standards directly.

For information, all these technologies have already been used in their latest Magic6 series flagship devices. At the same time, it was also confirmed to enter the global market at the end of February through the main stage of MWC 2024.
