Instagram now adds a new 'People You Follow' option through private messaging (DM) support in the app. It was developed specifically for content creators in an effort to create a safer communication experience and provide a positive impact on them.
In the example shown above this new option only prioritizes text messages from accounts the user follows. It is considered an interesting addition because it can have a big impact, especially on those who are often flooded with many messages from unknown and suspicious parties. At the same time also ensure that they do not overlook any important messages that deserve attention.
