Figure is one of the companies that focuses on the development of human-like robots. It has already received some support, including BMW who said it would use it as a worker for basic tasks.
A few weeks ago, we heard about Microsoft and OpenAI in discussions to invest in Figure. Now, there is an extended report, stating that Jeff Bezos will also invest in the company.
Apart from Jeff Bezos, other parties who are also said to invest in the company are Samsung, Intel and NVIDIA.
It simultaneously shows Figure among the robotics companies that have received a lot of attention, and are now leading in terms of development and public attention.
Figure is estimated to be worth around $2 billion through the latest injection of investment funds.
