Two years ago, in iOS 16 Apple introduced the most interesting feature in iMessage. That is, messages that are sent by mistake can be edited. This feature was later introduced by WhatsApp and recently Google also tested the same feature on Google Messages.
This feature is still under development. Users are given 30 minutes after the message is sent to edit it again. This is longer than iMessage which only gives 15 minutes.
To do that, just press and hold the message then select the pencil icon, enter new text, done. With Google busy popularizing the use of RCS, which is a competitor to iMessage but for all Android users – this message editing feature is a very useful feature that will be appreciated.
