MSI introduced their portable PC console, the MSI Claw earlier this year at the CES 2024 event, which featured it as the first console powered by Intel's 14th generation Meteor Lake processing chip.
MSI Claw comes with a 7.0-inch IPS touch screen display with Full HD resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. For the local market, MSI Claw will come with two configurations, the first powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7-155H chip and 16GB of RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, and an Intel Core Ultra 5-135H with the same amount of memory and PCIe 4.0 SSD storage as much as 512GB.
What's more interesting about this console is that it comes with an aggressive dual-fan cooling system with cooling holes on the top and back of the console to ensure that the components can operate optimally.
MSI Malaysia also told us that the 53Wh battery of the MSI Claw console can last for two hours depending on the application used. In terms of plug support, MSI Claw has one Thunderbolt 4 plug that can be used for charging or connection to an external display, one HDMI plug, one MicroSD card reader and one 3.5mm audio plug.
MSI Claw pre-orders will be open from 9 March 2024 until 21 March 2024, with a starting price of RM3499 for the Intel Core Ultra 5 model and RM3999 for the Intel Core Ultra 7 model. For those who pre-order this console, they will also receive a free gift worth RM499 when they receive their console in April.
