According to Druckman, he had an idea about the direction of the game right after TLOU II was completed. It involves the character of Tommy, brother of Joel. The concept of the game that he wants to develop is already in his head. With Naughty Dog not having any games in development after The Last of Us Remastered and The Last of Us Part II Remastered launched, Druckman said there is room for another "chapter" to complete the TLOU story.
