Nothing has officially confirmed the processing chip that will be used on the Nothing Phone (2a) just now. This time, Nothing collaborated with MediaTek after two of their devices used Qualcomm chips.
In Nothing's new video, the Phone (2a) is confirmed to use the Dimensity 7200 Pro chip. It is a customized version designed by Nothing and MediaTek for 10% more efficient, faster data transfer with Adaptive NTFS and guarantees consistent performance with Smart Clean feature.
This strategy is the same as Xiaomi with Dimensity 7200-Ultra specially designed for Redmi Note 13 Pro+. Nothing OS, which is the Android operating system used on the Nothing Phone, was also developed together with the MediaTek team to make the Phone (2a) smoother.
Nothing also shared that the other two chip candidates are the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 and the Snapdragon 782G. But it was not chosen because in their tests, these two chips had lower performance. The Phone (2a) will be launched on March 5, 2024. The official design is said to be revealed at the MWC Barcelona 2024 event soon. what do you say
