NVIDIA Chat With RTX Enables AI Chatbots to Run Directly from a PC

 

NVIDIA announced Chat with RTX which allows PC owners with their graphics card to run chatbots with artificial intelligence (AI) directly from the device. No internet is required and the resulting chatbot can be trained using personal data that is not shared to the cloud to ensure privacy.

Chat with RTX users can choose which AI models to run directly from their PC. Then they can also choose what documents can be accessed for work needs. They can then ask Chat with RTX about the information in the documents that have been accessed. There is a feature to ask Chat with RTX to watch a video before generating a content summary.

Chat with RTX can be used by PC owners with 16GB of RAM and RTX 30 and RTX 40 series graphics cards equipped with at least 8GB of VRAM.
