A day after overtaking Amazon, now NVIDIA continues to show an increase in the share price that leads to an increase in the value of the company. Recently, NVIDIA has surpassed Alphabet (Google's parent company) in terms of market value, making NVIDIA the 4th most valuable company in the world.
The increase in the value of the NVIDIA company is in line with the increasing demand for semiconductors and chips - mainly due to the leadership of the artificial intelligence arena. Various companies are now racing to develop products based on artificial intelligence – leading to increased demand for chips to power it.
In 4th place, NVIDIA is now worth $1.825 trillion, and is only behind Saudi Aramco, Apple and Microsoft. Microsoft ranks first with a company value exceeding $3 trillion.
