The NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation GPU was announced yesterday with a GPU that emphasizes the capabilities of artificial intelligence (AI), graphics and processing capabilities in workstation-type computers. It promises a performance increase of up to 1.5X compared to the RTX A2000 12GB offered by NVIDIA before.
This entry-level professional graphics card is equipped with 16GB GDDR6 RAM memory, 2816 CUDA cores, 88 Tensor cores, 22 RT cores and processing power up to 191.9 TFLOPs. With the third generation RT core, it is able to perform the ray-tracing process 1.7X faster while the fourth generation Tensor core offers AI improvements up to 1.8X better than the previous generation. DLSSS 3 support and AV1 encoding are also included.
The NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation GPU card will be sold for $625 (~RM2978) through partners Arrow Electronics, Ingram Micro, Leadtek, PNY, Ryoyo Electro, and TD SYNNEX. Dell Technologies, HP, and Lenovo will offer computers with this GPU starting next April.
