OnePlus Watch 2 Introduced With WearOS, Battery Lasts 100 Hours

OnePlus is now introducing their new smart watch that comes with a round watch face design, and for the first time is powered by the Wear OS operating system developed by Google.

This smart watch also focuses on battery life, where OnePlus states that the battery can last for 100 hours of use (in "smart" use mode).

OnePlus is seen to achieve this through the use of a dual operating system, where the WearOS operating system manages the main tasks such as application support, while the RTOS operating system runs when in idle mode. This at the same time ensures that this smart watch is able to last for a long time.

Completing this smart watch is a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen, powered by a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip to run Wear OS, while the BES 2700 MCU Efficiency to run RTOS. It also comes with a 500mAh battery with 7.5W magnetic-based charging. Completing it is 32GB storage and also 2GB RAM memory.

For now, it is not known yet when the OnePlus Watch 2 will be marketed for the local market.
