OpenAI is now reportedly developing a web search engine, which is partially powered by Microsoft's Bing. This will indirectly make OpenAi compete directly with Google in the arena.
Today, Google holds the majority of the search engine market, and it is still difficult to challenge various parties, including Microsoft itself. It is not yet known whether OpenAI will integrate this feature directly on ChatGPT, or come with a new product under them.
With this new development, let's all look forward to OpenAI's new product, and how it might shape or challenge the search engine arena.
