Porsche Design Honor Magic V2 RSR Also Announced For The Global Market – At A Price Up To RM14k

The new Porsche Design Honor Magic V2 RSR foldable device also made its official debut on the global stage just now. It is basically an Honor Magic V2 but given an exclusive touch in collaboration with luxury design company Porsche Design. At the same time it is upgraded through larger storage up to 1TB.

Inspired by the Porche 911 car, this limited edition collection is made of different materials including fiberglass on the back panel. Followed by a hinge that uses titanium construction. Another thing Honor also includes a special Anti-Scratch NanoCrystal Shield layer aims to provide better protection to the device. The device also retains stylus support on the outer and inner screens.

No internal specification changes have been made and the whole thing is similar to the regular Magic V2. The device is equipped with a 6.43-inch external screen followed by a 7.92-inch internal screen. The screen is entirely from 120Hz LTPO OLED which also supports 2156 X 2344 pixels for the outer screen and 1060 X 2376 pixels for the inner screen.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, 16GB RAM memory and 1TB internal storage are used as the mainstay. The included 5,000 battery is also unique in the industry because it is a type of carbon silicon developed by Honor itself. Then can be recharged via USB-C port and 66W fast charging.

The main camera consists of 50MP + 50MP (ultra wide) + 20MP (telephoto) with OIS. Meanwhile, the outside and inside selfie cameras each use 16MP sensors. Also complementing the device are stereo speakers, a side fingerprint scanner, NFC, and an infrared transmitter that can be used as a remote control. The device is sold at €2699 (~RM13,942) apiece.
