In parallel with the announcement of the sale of premium gaming laptops Predator Helios 18 and Helios 16, Acer Malaysia also announced the arrival of the Predator Helios Neo 16, a premium mid-range laptop that still comes with powerful specifications.
The Predator Helios Neo 16 comes with a more compact design, but also now with a number of USB plugs and video outputs loaded to the back to reduce cable tangles on the sides.
It comes with a 16-inch IPS screen display with a resolution of 2560×1600 that comes with a choice of 240Hz or 165Hz refresh rate depending on the model. Both of these screen types can process 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut for accurate color processing.
Predator Helios Neo 16 will come with two CPU offerings, including Intel Core i7-14700HX and Intel Core i5-14500HX with DDR5 memory offerings of 16GB or 8GB depending on the model with 1TB NVMe SSD storage.
In terms of graphics, the Predator Helios Neo 16 comes with two options, including the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 which have no problem running modern computer games.
In terms of I/O offerings, the laptop comes with support for a Thunderbolt 4 plug, an HDMI 2.1 plug, a MicroSD card reader and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also comes with support for WiFi 6E for fast internet connection.
Acer Malaysia is bringing in three Predator Helios Neo 16 models powered by a choice of 14th generation Intel Core i7 and Core i5 CPUs with prices starting from RM6,399 to RM8,999.
