Sony has announced that the Sony PlayStation VR2 headset will be available on PC this year. They have already started testing to support this VR headset on PC. More information will be shared by Sony in the near future.
This is a good move from Sony as it will make the purchase of this RM 2799 headset more worthwhile. The amount of VR games on the PlayStation 5 console is still quite limited when compared to what is offered on PC. We ourselves haven't used the PS VR2 at home for quite some time due to the lack of interesting games.
Sony is starting to realize that supporting more platforms besides PlayStation is a smart move. The simultaneous launch strategy of Helldivers 2 on PlayStation5 and PC broke records on Steam last week.
