Acer Malaysia today announced that two of their most premium laptops, the Predator Helios 18 and the Predator Helios 16 have been updated with the latest Intel and NVIDIA components and can be purchased in the local market.
As shown in the names of these two laptop models, the Predator Helios 18 and Helios 16 come with 18-inch and 16-inch Mini LED screen displays with WQXGA (2560×1600) resolution with a 16:10 display ratio and a 250Hz refresh rate. . With a brightness value as high as 1000 nits, this display also supports HDR display technology that promises a very bright viewing and gaming experience.
Both of these laptops are powered by the latest and most powerful Intel Core i9-14900HX processing chip for laptops, 32GB of DDR5 memory, and a choice of 2TB or 4TB PCIe 4.0 storage.
In terms of graphics card specifications, the Predator Helios 18 and Helios 16 also come with three graphics card options, including NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, GeForce RTX 4080 or GeForce RTX 4070, all powerful graphics cards capable of running modern computer games at resolutions and settings the highest.
The cooling system of these laptops has also been updated to power the components that consume power as high as 330W. They use a fifth generation Aeroblade 3D cooling fan combined with a metal cooling fluid that allows these components to operate at optimal performance and temperature.
Apart from that, both these laptops also come with support for Thunderbolt 4 plug, HDMI 2.1 and a microSD card reader. Acer Malaysia says that these two laptops are already available in the local market, starting at RM13,999 for the Predator Helios 18 and RM10,999 for the Predator Helios 16.
