Google has now announced that they will end the offering of the YouTube Kids application on television, by July 2024. Instead, Google asks users to use the main YouTube app on the television.
This move comes in parallel with the previous integration that united the YouTube and YouTube Kids applications in one application. With this integration, users can easily change profile settings – and do not need any separate application.
These changes are for use on television screens only, and do not involve the YouTube Kids app for mobile devices.
