What is the main issue of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series? The answer is that the external screen is quite narrow when compared to the foldable screen devices released by Oppo, Xiaomi and Honor. In 2024, Samsung will have to make changes to the design to remain competitive in the folding screen market which is now increasingly crowded with competitors.
The latest design that is said to be for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 has been leaked. The good news for those wanting a change is that the outer screen is clearly wider. The screen ratio is very similar to that used on the Oppo Find N3 and the Google Pixel Fold. Based on my own experience reviewing the Find N3, it is the best foldable screen device ever produced. The external screen is good enough to use without the need to open the folding screen frequently.
The mockup image above was produced by @xleaks7 based on a patent found by the Pigtou site. It's in line with some of the rumors we've heard ourselves and some of the prototypes that Samsung itself has shown over the past few months.
