Canalys released its report of the top 10 best-selling smartphones in 2023. Surprisingly, 7 of them are iPhones while the remaining 3 phones are Samsung products. iPhone 14 Pro Max recorded the highest sales with 34 million units.
Followed by iPhone 15 Pro Max (32 million), iPhone 14 (29 million), iPhone 14 Pro (29 million), iPhone 13 (23 million), Samsung Galaxy A14 4G (21 million), iPhone 15 Pro (21 million), Samsung Galaxy A54 5G (20 million), Samsung Galaxy A14 5G (19 million) and finally iPhone 15 (17 million).
It's interesting to see the older models of the iPhone that sell more than the more recent models. For Samsung, the Galaxy A mid-range device sold better than the Galaxy S, Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip series. So it's no surprise that in 2023, Apple managed to overtake Samsung as the smartphone manufacturer with the highest production.
