TikTok is now informing sellers on the TikTok Shop platform, stating that the commission fee charge for using the platform will be increased from March 1, 2024. This new charge will also take into account and include the 8% SST charge which will be enforced in Malaysia from 1 March 2024.
Through the shared table, the platform commission fee is up to 4.32%, depending on the product category. All payments will be automatically deducted on the final order, before the seller receives their payment.
In addition to the commission fee, TikTok Shop also has a transaction charge of 2.16% for each successful payment.
