Tenaga Nasional Berhad has now shared that it will provide more than 500 electric vehicle charging points by 2025. This step is also in line with the government's target in the energy transition step.
In addition to providing electric charging stations, TNB also aims to use electric vehicles for their operations, as much as 30% by 2030. This is expected to involve almost more than 1000 vehicles under them.
Today, Tenaga Nasional has around 127 electric vehicles under them. The transition to electric vehicles is also expected to reduce carbon emissions by their operation from year to year.
In addition to this, TNB also stated that they are also committed to developing the electric vehicle industry, including involving skill development, sponsoring various studies involving it, in addition to developing infrastructure related to it.
