The video game Upin & Ipin will launch on video game consoles next September. This was announced by the managing director of Les' Copaque Productions, Burhanudin Md Radzi in a press conference today. According to him this game has been developed since a year ago and it cost RM15 million.
The name of the company that published the game was not revealed unless it was an international company. Which console it will launch on is also still a mystery. It's rare for a modern-gen console game to launch within a year and not have any trailers shown beforehand. Previously only Upin & Ipin KipiBlock, Upin & Ipin Dash and Upin & Ipin Metrobot games were launched but only for Android and iOS devices.
The animated series that was first shown in 2017 is very popular in Malaysia and also neighboring Indonesia. In addition, it also appeared in three animated films that also received a warm welcome in the cinema.
