Walmart Reportedly In Talks To Take Over Smart Television Maker Vizio

 

Vizio is one of the smart television manufacturers based in the United States. For information, previously in 2016 LeEco had announced that it wanted to take over Vizio, but it was canceled in early 2017.

Most recently, it is now reported that Walmart is in discussions to take over the smart television manufacturer. Walmart is expected to pay more than $2 billion to acquire Vizio.

For Walmart, which is already popular in the retail arena in the United States, it is expected to strengthen its position in the advertising arena, in addition to having control over the television market in the United States.

For now, both parties have not issued any official comments related to this matter.
