Threads is Meta's answer to X/Twitter. Yesterday Mark Zuckerberg announced that Threads now has 130 million monthly active users, an increase from the 100 million monthly users announced last October.
In Q4 2023, other Meta applications such as Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp have active users reaching more than 3.19 billion daily and 3.98 billion monthly. With the content of Threads displayed on Facebook and Instagram timelines, it is not surprising if the number of users is increasing because there will be many with a curious nature.
