Microsoft is adding another generative artificial intelligence (AI) feature to their Windows operating system. This time the Windows Photos application received the Generative Erase feature that can delete elements in the picture with the help of AI. This is similar to the same features offered by Galaxy AI and Adobe Photoshop.
To delete a picture, the user only has to select the element that wants to be removed and it will be done automatically. Also announced is that all generative AI background removal, background blurring and Generative Erase features will also be available on Windows 10 and Arm64 devices.
The update for the Photos app with this new feature has started rolling out to Windows Insider users first before rolling out to everyone in the near future.
