X started enabling the voice calling feature to all users of the platform. When it was launched in early January, voice calls could only be used by X Premium customers. Through this feature X is getting closer to Elon Musk's vision to make it a super application that can do more than just social media sharing video, audio and pictures.
Once the application is finished updating, the user will receive a notification to activate voice call support. Anyone can receive voice calls but users can put a filter to limit it to only followers or people followed on X.
