Xiaomi has now officially introduced the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in China, simultaneously showing a variety of new and powerful things brought by Xiaomi's 2024 flagship phone.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes with a 6.73-inch OLED screen with a 2K resolution display, offers a brightness rate of up to 3000-nits, powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processing chip, memory up to 16GB RAM, and storage up to 1TB.
Being the main focus on this phone is its camera capabilities that use the Leica brand. Xiami 14 Ultra comes with four camera sensors on the back. The main camera is a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 1-inch sensor with variable aperture support between f/1.63 to f/4.0. In addition, it also comes with a 50MP wide-angle sensor, a 50MP sensor with 3.2x optical zoom support, and a 50MP sensor with 5x periscope zoom support. Xiaomi uses Leica Simmilux lens branding for this smartphone.
With the camera on this phone, users can record 4K 120fps video using the main sensor, in addition to 8K 30fps video using any other sensor. Users can also shoot RAW images using it.
For selfies, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes with a 32-megapixel sensor on the front. Also complementing it is a 5300mAh battery with 90W fast charging support.
Xiaomi says the Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes with Android 14-based HyperOS, in addition to IP68 waterproof support. Also included is two-way satellite communication support along with it.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra is offered in several variations in China, including the titanium version which is offered at a price of CNY8799 which is around RM5845. Completing the Xiaomi 14 Ultra offer is also a special kit offer in China that is sold separately – including a special frame to provide more comfort, in addition to additional battery power.
