Google previously introduced the integration of answers based on artificial intelligence on their search engine, called Search Generative Experience (SGE). Through it, Google will generate answers to the questions asked, in addition to listing a number of websites like normal search results at the bottom.
In parallel, now according to some search engine optimization experts, this step will have an impact on the organic traffic to the content publisher's web, decreasing between 20% to 60%.
With a reduction in traffic to a website as well, it is also expected to reduce income through advertisers on the content publisher's website. In addition to organic traffic through search, advertising on search engines may also lead to reduced clicks, as ads are now displayed at the bottom of SGE's generated results, rather than at the top as before. This also indirectly leads to changes in user interaction methods on search results.
For now, expectations regarding this matter are still in the early stages since Google has not introduced this SGE search feature comprehensively yet.
