Apple today officially announced their latest laptop under the Macbook Air family, and is powered by the Apple M3 chip. Two variations were introduced, namely 15-inch and 13-inch.
Apple says the MacBook Air M3 offers 60% faster performance than the original M1 model, and 13 times faster than previous Intel models. This MacBook Air M3 comes with memory options up to 24GB RAM.
It also comes with a battery life of up to 18 hours, a Liquid Retina display, and the ability to connect up to 2 additional displays. Completing this laptop is also MagSafe charging support. Apple also includes WiFi 6E support along with it, as well as two Thunderbolt connections, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Apple says a number of tasks can be done quickly. For example, video editing using Final Cut Pro can be done 60% faster on this M3 model compared to the previous M1 model. Like the previous model, it also comes with Magic Keyboard and Touch ID.
The 13-inch Apple MacBook Air M3 will be offered at a starting price of RM5199, while the 15-inch version will be offered at a starting price of RM6199. Local sales dates are expected to be announced soon.
