Apple Trade In Trade-In Program Now In Malaysia – Get Up To RM4200 Rebate

The opening of Malaysia's first Apple Store in TRX is getting closer as little by little Apple Store offerings are offered. AppleCare+ has already been offered providing additional warranty and the opportunity to repair Apple products for free. Most recently, the Apple Trade In trade-in program has been offered.

On the Apple Store application in iPhone and the Apple Malaysia website, the Apple Trade In category is displayed. Apple is seen accepting iPhones, Apple Watches, iPads and Macs in exchange for new Apple products. The iPhones received are from iPhone 7 to iPhone 14 Pro Max with rebate values from RM200 to RM3900. Apple Watch from Series 4 to Apple Watch Ultra with a value from RM0 to RM1950. iPads range from iPad Mini to iPad Pro with a value of up to RM4200. Last but not least are Macs such as Mac Pro, Mac mini, iMac, iMac Pro and Macbook with a value of up to RM11,650.

According to Apple, every product exchanged will be recycled. The user will receive money back through the payment method used. For example, if you trade in an iPhone 13 for an iPhone 15, you have to pay in full first and after you receive the new device you have to return the old iPhone within 14 days. Only after Apple receives your old device will the money be returned. If the value is higher, the balance will be credited to the Apple account. The total amount you will receive is based on the condition of the device delivered.

With Apple Trade In already offered, Apple Malaysia will soon be offering a Refurbished Apple product category. This category appeared in the Apple Store app on iPhone and iPad earlier last year. In my review, the value that Apple offers for older devices is quite high compared to the current market. So if you want to enjoy the complete Apple ecosystem from iPhone to Apple Watch to MacBook this is the best time.
