ASUS last night launched their new flagship device, the ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra. With the arrival of this device, many have released the theory that the flagship compact device is "dead" because the compact design on the ASUS Zenfone 10 and 9 which was previously no longer continued.
The Zenfone 11 Ultra is equipped with a 6.78-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen, FHD+, 144Hz LTPO, protected with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and has a brightness of up to 2500-nits. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage.
For the Zenfone 11 Ultra camera configuration, it uses a tri-camera system of 50MP wide angle + 13MP ultra wide angle + 32MP telephoto 3x optical zoom with a 6-axis gimbal type OIS system as well as HyperClarity and 32MP for the selfie camera. The device's battery is 5500mAh with 65W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. The device is also protected with IP68. The Zenfone 11 Ultra runs Zen UI Android 14 with a 2-year warranty of Android updates and 4 years of security updates.
The device also retains a 3.5mm audio jack port and supports Dirac-tuned stereo speakers. The design of the device if examined is very similar to the ASUS ROG Phone 8 because it is indeed the same device. The main difference is in the design of the back panel, the choice of colors and AI features on Zen UI. The AI features offered are AI Bokeh, AI Transcript, AI Call Translation, AI Noise Cancellation, AI Wallpaper and also AI Semantic Search.
This device is seen not offered in Malaysia and only in countries like the United States or Europe only. The selling price is €999 (~RM5,111) for 12/256 GB and €1099 (~RM5,621) for 16/512 GB.
