Beeper is a company whose mission is to facilitate the communication of users who have many messaging accounts from different services. They first became famous for offering iMessage for Android and Windows then went viral with the Beeper Mini app that can use iMessage without an Apple ID account. Now after giving in with Apple, Beeper is relaunched as a new app that supports 12 different messaging services.
Beeper: Universal Chat is a messaging app for Android. It is practically a lighter version of Beeper Cloud for Windows and macOS. At launch, Beeper supports 12 messaging services namely Beeper/Matrix (its own ecosystem), Google Chat, Messenger, RCS/SMS, Signal, Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Discord and even Slack. The new application is also designed with a simple interface, quick to use and also supports large screen display or folding screen.
Beeper is also free to use for a limited time only for existing Beeper account owners. Other users can register interest or get invitation codes from other users. But in the future, Beeper will charge a monthly subscription to use. Android Auto support, delete messages (now it's a mirror of all chats), iMessage and more are still in planning and development.
