Google is now making further clarifications, including apologizing for the recent error in displaying the USD-MYR currency exchange.
Making further clarifications, Google stated that they provide foreign currency exchange information on an informational basis only, and asked users to refer to Bank Negara Malaysia for any information before making financial decisions.
Google also said they contacted third-party providers immediately to correct the USD-MYR currency exchange data for the day.
Previously, Google has shown the wrong conversion rate, making it the talk of the town in the internet arena. Bank Negara Malaysia has issued a comment related to the matter, stating that the exchange rate on Google is inaccurate.
