Google Chrome For Windows on Arm Will Be Launched This Week




Google Chrome specifically for Windows on Arm computers will finally launch this week to allow it to run natively for the first time. Although Windows on Arm has been launched for a long time, Google Chrome has been operating using an x64 emulator.



This is seen as a preliminary preparation before the various PCs that will be launched with the Snapdragon X Elite chip in H2 2024. This Arm-based chip has been highly anticipated since it was announced at the Snapdragon Summit event last October. Like the Intel Core Ultra chip, the X Elite is equipped with an NPU to enable the computer that uses it to become an AI PC.


Microsoft wants to make 2024 the year of AI for the Windows operating system. Various PCs with AI capabilities Copilot has a special button to call this AI fiber capable of running AI models directly on the machine without the need for an internet connection.
