Fitbit by Google is now called Google Fitbit. This brand of health tracker product has been taken over by Google and exited the Malaysian market. Even so, this brand is still active in releasing new products. Among the latest is the Pixel Watch 2 with Fitbit integration.
In October last year, Google stated that Fitbit will support an AI chatbot that can help users further understand the health and fitness data that has been recorded. This year Google confirmed that this AI will be powered by the Personal Health LLM vernacular model. This feature will be included through Fitbit Labs and is limited to Fitbit Premium users only.
Fitbit's AI chatbot can analyze all the data and translate it into explanations that are easier to understand. It's as if users are asking questions to trainers in a real gym. With this feature, users can also understand more deeply what the next steps can be taken to stay healthy. At the moment it is still uncertain when this feature will be included and if it is limited to Fitbit products only or the Pixel Watch will also be able to use it. Let's wait together.
