Google Search No Longer Showing Currency Exchange Value To Malaysian Ringgit

Two major incidents involving Malaysian Ringgit values not displaying correctly on Google Search now appear to have rendered a useful feature unusable. We have noticed since yesterday that any currency exchange queries involving the Malaysian Ringgit on Google Search no longer display the answers as before.

On the other hand, Google Search only provides links to some websites that can provide currency exchange services. The answer is not given if the currency is to be converted to Ringgit Malaysia or the Ringgit Malaysia is to be converted to a foreign currency. This is not a bug because if the query is to convert the currency USD to Vietnamese Dong for example, the answer can only be provided by Google Search without any problem.

We also noticed that if a question is asked to Google Assistant, it also refuses to give an answer. We have contacted Google Malaysia but we are still waiting for an official response from them.

The loss of this feature is quite annoying for those who regularly search for money exchange values through Google Search. Currency exchange searches for Malaysian Ringgits can still be done using Bing or Siri. So at this point, use alternatives other than Google Search.
