Google Wallet Will Support Apple Wallet Pass

Google Pay is a digital payment service by Google where users in the United States can store credit cards, debit cards, top up, make payments or send money to friends. Starting June 4 this year, Google Wallet will completely replace Google Pay.

Google Wallet is Google's answer to Apple Wallet. It is a digital wallet that can store all payment cards, membership cards, movie tickets, theme park passes, airline tickets and more. Most recently, Google Wallet is seen to grow further with support for adding Apple Wallet passes.

According to Mishaal Rahman, the latest Google Wallet app has started testing support for importing passes with the .pkpass format that Apple uses. With this support, it will be easier for Apple and Android users to share passes with each other. For example buying theme park tickets in bulk, these passes are easy to send to people using different devices.
