Honor has set a target of achieving a 20 percent share of the smartphone sales market in Malaysia by the end of 2024. Honor said the target can be achieved through the introduction of new models in the mid-to-premium segment that feature innovative and relevant technology for consumers.
For the record so far, the company has gained more than 15 percent of the smartphone market in this country. According to Honor, the achievement was successfully achieved due to the company's core value of prioritizing customer convenience. For them it is not enough to focus only on the large amount but also on the value that is able to improve the customer's lifestyle.
For that purpose Honor's research and development (R&D) department has to play an important role in advancing technology, especially for foldable phones. Through it they need to ensure that each device produced has special features that stand out for a more realistic user experience.
For example, Honor Magic V2 is the thinnest and lightest foldable device to date. In addition, this matter also contributed to the success of Honor's sales because users are said to be more likely to be attracted to devices that can provide a smooth experience without interruption. This includes screen support and a large battery.
As you already know, Porsche Design's Magic6 Pro and RSR devices have just been announced for the global market at MWC 2024. Following that, Honor is now preparing for the launch in Malaysia at a date to be announced later.
