HP launched the HP Color LaserJet Pro 3000 series of printers targeting users from SMEs. Each LaserJet Pro 3000 printer uses a TerraJet toner system that can offer prints with more colors for business needs.
In addition to 11% more vivid colors, it also offers 18% faster printing than the previous series. To reduce operating costs, this printer also reduces electricity consumption by up to 27%. From a sustainability point of view, it reduces the use of plastic by up to 28%.
The advantage of the HP Color LaserJet Pro 3000 series is the HP Print AI software which has AI support by the end of this year. For example, the software can see the document to be printed and then be given instructions to print only text or images only. Only important summaries from the document can also be printed.
In the demo we saw, the software could be instructed to just print recipes from a website that had ads, videos and pictures. Instructions are given like a chatbot prompt before the software provides three layout options that the user can choose from. As a result a printout that should have required four pages is condensed down to just one page.

5GHz WiFI support is also provided to enable wireless printing to be done faster. According to HP, each LaserJet Pro 3000 also does not require a large floor space. Making it also used in small office spaces.
Four variants are offered, namely HP Color LaserJet Pro 3301 cdw and HP Color LaserJet Pro 3301 fdw with the ability to print front and back, scan documents, photocopy and fax. Meanwhile, the HP Color LaserJet Pro 3301 sdw can print front and back, scan documents and photocopy. Last but not least is the solid HP Color LaserJet Pro 3201 that can do regular printing. All of these printers will go on sale next May but prices have not been announced.
