The Indian government is now asking tech firms and companies to seek permission from the authorities, before introducing artificial intelligence-based products to the public or in testing.
This development includes involving GenAI models or generation models based on artificial intelligence. The Indian government also stated that the introduction or development can only be done after receiving the permission of the authorities.
In addition, the developer also needs to include a pop-up stating the possibility that the generated results are not very accurate.
With this move, it is not yet known how it will impact the development of the artificial intelligence industry in India.
