The Minister of Economy, Rafizi Ramli today did a brief launch for an upcoming event, KL20. The event held for the first time will focus on the startup world, where it will bring together various parties in this arena, from investors, developers, company owners, and so on.
KL20 will be organized on 22 and 23 April 2024, located at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The name KL20 itself was chosen in an effort to position Kuala Lumpur as one of the world's top 20 destinations and startup hubs.
Sharing about it, the Minister of Economy also aimed that the event will also show the launch of a new investment fund, the announcement of the entry of several investment firms into the Malaysian market, in addition to the announcement by several unicorns to open R&D centers in Malaysia.
KL20 is also expected to promote Malaysia as a destination of choice to attract more startups to come to Malaysia – at the same time leading to the development of local talent and economy.
