Lenovo Releases Robot Dog With Six Legs

What's up with robot dogs? This is a question we don't have a complete answer to yet because since the Boston Dynamic Spot was launched, Xiaomi, Oppo and Tecno have also started offering their own robot dogs. Now Lenovo also doesn't want to miss out by launching the Daystar Bot GS.

What sets the Daystar Bot GS apart from other dog robots is that it has six legs. This according to Lenovo gives it more capabilities than competitors. It is still equipped with a 3D camera sensor and LiDAR to enable it to navigate safely and precisely. Like other dog robots, the Daystar Bot GS targets use by industrial, security and even hospitality customers.

Various additional sensors and even "hands" can be installed on the top of the Daystar Bot GS to allow it to perform actions such as opening doors. There is no complete information about the processor used, running speed or battery capacity. What is known is that the robot has IP66 waterproof and dustproof capabilities.
