The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 and ThinkPad L series of laptops have been updated today with the launch of six new models that not only have improved performance but also features that make them more visually impaired friendly.
Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 5
We start with the Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 5 which is a flagship model equipped with a 13.3″ IPS WUXGA screen with touch, Intel Core Ultra chip, Intel ARC graphics, memory up to 64GB LPDDR5x RAM, storage up to 2TB SSD and battery up to 54.7 Whr. A 5MP web camera is offered with an optional IR system for face scanning as well as a ThinkShutter privacy shutter. There is support for Dolby Audio, WiFi 7, and cellular networks up to 5G. The body is made of recycled magnesium and aluminum.

Finally, the Lenovo ThinkPad L16 i Gen 5 comes with a 16″ IPS WUXGA screen with touch, Intel Core Ultra chip, Intel Arc graphics, memory up to 64GB LPDDR5x RAM, storage up to 2TB SSD PCIe 4×4 M.2 228 and battery up to 57 Mr. A 5MP web camera is offered with an optional IR system for face scanning as well as a ThinkShutter privacy shutter. This model is also equipped with a keyboard with tactile buttons that make it easier for the visually impaired to find the location of the button they want to touch.
