Last year Maxis started increasing the 5G quota to their postpaid customers. Now after months of account owners enjoying additional quota, customers of the Maxis Postpaid Share 48 sharing plan now also receive more quota.
Starting February 29, 2024, all users of this plan will receive a quota of 50GB compared to the previous 30GB. This quota is a fixed quota for the sharing plan rather than a quota given by the account owner to share. Maxis also gave an example if you are a Maxis Postpaid 139 plan user and have two Postpaid Share 48 plans, you will receive an additional 40GB quota of 20GB on each plan.
This free additional quota is limited to Maxis customers who do not subscribe to a broadband or fiber optic Internet plan. Because those who have an Internet plan at home already receive unlimited quota. This change will take place on February 29 in stages.
