Meizu this year made a surprise in Malaysia, where they launched a new flagship device Meizu 21. Last year, they quietly re-entered the Malaysian market and for those who are curious – Meizu is now a device manufacturer under Geely.
The Meizu 21 is a new compact flagship device whose back panel is similar to the Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+. The body of the device is flat, as is the screen and the device is designed to look simple, minimal, elegant and premium. The device comes with a 6.55-inch AMOLED 120Hz screen, powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, paired with 12GB RAM + 256/512 GB memory and storage options.
The main camera is 200+13+5 Megapixel, supports 4x lossless zoom feature, 8K video recording, Aicy Dynamic Ring LED Flash and 32 Megapixel selfie camera. Meizu 21 is also equipped with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner sensor, stereo speakers, mEngine Ultra Flagship Touch Engine, 4800mAh capacity battery and 80W wired fast charging.
The Aicy Dynamic Ring LED coil is not just an ordinary flash light, because it is an interactive LED light. Users can use voice commands to see fireworks, moving lights change colors according to the beat of music or even notifications. The lights also change according to the weather situation with the power of AI.
To further enhance the best gaming experience, Meizu 21 comes with the Glacial Nexus cooling system. For the Malaysian market there are three colors on offer which are Infinity Black, Meizu White or Dynamic Purple. The two variants that can be purchased are 12/256 GB at a price of RM2,999 and 12/512 GB at a price of RM3,299. Those who buy before April 5 will be eligible to receive an additional 12-month warranty and also TWS Meizu Pandaer worth RM189.
