Meizu 21 Pro has been launched as a new flagship phone in China. It is equipped with a body that is completely flat similar to a previous Meizu 21. It is also combined with three cameras on the back with RGB LEDs that complement it. The Meizu 21 Pro is also available in Starry Night Black, Meizu White and Glacier Blue with a glass back panel, as well as Laurel Green with a fake leather back panel.
For specifications, it features a 6.79-inch BOE LTPO 120Hz screen with 2K resolution. The screen also offers a 21:9 aspect ratio and a peak brightness of 1250 nits, alongside a 2,160Hz PWM Dimming function that should help protect the eyes. Also included is an ultrasonic type fingerprint scanner which is also said to be used to count heartbeats.
Then memory up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 internal storage is also included which complements the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip for the mainstay. A 5,050mAh battery is used and can be recharged using a USB-C port and fast charging 80W, wireless 50W and reverse 10W.
In addition, a 50MP main camera with OIS + EIS, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 10MP telephoto lens, and 3D ToF with support for 8K video recording also complete it. Meanwhile, the selfie camera is 32MP.
The device is also IP68 waterproof, in addition to running the new Meizu Flyme 10.5 with artificial intelligence functions and Aicy digital assistant. Through it the device can provide call summaries, recognize text in photos, remove objects from images, create summaries for long articles, help choose the right phrase in response to messages and so on.
The selling price of the device starts at RMB4,999 (~RM3,297) for the 12/256GB version, RMB 5,399 (~RM,3,561) (16/512GB) and RMB 5,899 (~RM3,890) (16GB/1TB).
